Obviously I did not watch them all. And even most interesting concepts, problems I am focused on – many of those I did not watch even in 50%. I cannot found my reflections only on some teacher’s tricks and shortcuts to make newbies more screwed. I do not see too much entertainment for myself in such an approach because I was getting my first insights into deep electronics problems in age between 11 and 12. And I cannot return fully to my naive imagination how it may be. But I appreciate that videos on different levels of advancement are available throughout the Internet.

NE 555 is advanced circuit built into IC enclosure. It isn’t an ordinary operational amplifier or switch, or multivibrator in the most fundamental sense in electronics or latch, flip-flop circuit in it’s very basic concept. It is IC containing full combination of functions, modes, circuits well thought through to fit to each other to allow on a basis of different parameters like choice of resistors and condensers in the whole electronic circuit, then some weights, outweighting one parameters by another is the key. Condensers and its percise discharge processes measure time lapses alomost atomically accurately. Surprisignly condensers are the key to the time measurement itself. Transistors etc. are only logical aspects of the whole circuit, they direct flow of electrones, they allow functions like trigger to be transmitted as pulses to modify the amplification of signal. In this case signal is just pure binary piece of information. There isn’t any very analogue idea behind this circuit however all modules are on a basis of analogous electronic concepts, components but altogether work as precise binary code metronome where the key is a condenser component.

My favourite websites about NE 555 IC: Good text: http://www.circuitous.ca/LM555.html Another good text: http://techmag2003.tripod.com/555.htm http://www.elo.jmc.utfsm.cl/sriquelme/apuntes/555/El%20timer%20555.pdf Simplified: http://www.circuitstoday.com/the-history-555-timer-ic http://www.u.lodz.pl/~wibig/maze/budujemy/teleskop/555_4.pdf Wow!
