Marc J. Seifer – The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla

This section isn’t devoted yet to the analysis of Nikola Tesla’s work on my own. I still study his work. But I post pages from the book with my notes. Most of them are only of the vocabulary kind. But you can track what issues drew my attention. This biography isn’t much technical. It shows me a lot disgusting things about people of the late XIX century and the beginning of XX century. This isn’t a genius of the biographer. But just his detailed look into facts. I think that more interesting things are patents. But patents are not laws of physics. But just books gathering all known facts on electric current, forces, phenomena, static and dynamic phenomena for exact period, those who were able to synthesize isn’t enough. This books is not of this or that order. Is something different. This is why I perceive it separately. This book is a manifestation of unique process for me. That Nikola Tesla as a scientist was powerful enough that intrigued the laziest people in this world and their imaginations to draw their attention to his discoveries. That was followed by passionate about his life and work biographers who thoroughly studied his life, work, passion so many years after his death. I see this book not as a source of technical knowledge but as a good study of times, of human characters. Their lack of insight, immoral temptations and behavior. This book is extremely important. This is a warning for all talented, gifted people in this world. Beware of other people. Who lack the talent that you have. It is your own capital. And this is your choice how you use it. What you invest in your powers. Do not forget about it.
